DWC NOTAMS (NOtices to AirMen) are designed to make urgent or temporary changes to the DWC Flight Operations Manual (FOM) much in the same way that FAA NOTAMS make changes to the FAA operational system.
DWC
NOTAMS will be issued as explained in the DWC FOM.
DWC NOTAMS will be sent to DWC Pilots (Students & Aviation Center Staff)
via e-mail when first issued.
Additionally there will be copies available in the Flight Center. There should be no reason that a person authorized to fly DWC
aircraft has not been able to receive a copy of any effective DWC NOTAM.
DWC
NOTAMS will be issued by the Director of Flight Operations or, in his
absence, the Assistant Director of Flight Operations or the Director of
Flight Education. DWC NOTAMS
have the same force as the DWC Flight Operations Manual and are to be
considered directive in nature.
